Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 14, 2025

1. Company Overview

Lilly Faire provides custom balloon artistry, event design services, and rental items for events in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Our mission is to help you celebrate life’s special moments with unforgettable decor and service.

2. Service Area

We currently serve clients located in:

  • northern Virginia
  • Washington, D.C.
  • parts of Maryland

Travel fees will apply outside of our standard service areas of 22191, 22192, & 22193. There will be a set travel fee in the contract for 22191, 22192, & 22193. This is subject to change. All other service areas in the northern Virginia, DC and parts of Maryland will have travel fees applied and displayed in contract.

Setup, breakdown, cleanup and tax fees are calculated separately and will be displayed on the contract.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your event date. We do not hold dates until the 50% retainer fee payment has been made and a contract has been signed between the customer and Lilly Faire.
  • Final payment is due no later than 10 days prior to the event.
  • Accepted payment methods: [Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp.]

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • ALL cancellations must be made in writing and sent to the hello@lillyfaire.com email address.
  • The 50% retainer is non-refundable. No exceptions. We understand things happen and events may need to be rescheduled. We ask a reschedule notification be made in writing no later than 7 days of the event date. Rescheduled dates may be transferrable within 12 months of the original date scheduled.
  • We do not offer refunds. Rescheduled dates may be transferrable within 12 months of the original date scheduled. Please keep in mind, dates are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis; therefore, your new date may not be available. We ask that you work with our team in securing a new date for your event.

5. Inclement Weather

For events held outdoors, we ask that you factor in inclement weather during the planning stage and include another venue option indoors. Please keep in mind, we do not offer refunds and refer to #4 of the terms and conditions.

6. Design Services

Once a design is approved by the customer and materials are purchased, changes may result in additional fees. Color and material availability may vary.

7. Rental Terms

  • Rental items must be returned in the same condition as delivered.
  • A security deposit will be required and included in the contract with the fee amount.
  • Damaged, lost, or late items may incur additional charges.

8. Setup & Breakdown

Setup and breakdown times are pre-arranged. You or a designated contact must be present during setup and if specified in contract during breakdown. We are not responsible for delays due to venue access issues. Client is responsible for sending the venue rules to Lilly Faire in writing.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate venue and event details via in writing. This may alter the original design of the setup. For example, decor may not be allowed on the venue's walls. We are not responsible for damage after setup caused by weather, handling, or venue conditions.

10. Weather Policy

Outdoor setups are at your own risk. We are not liable for decor affected by weather after setup. We will do our best to secure the decor setup and this includes additional fees.

11. Liability Disclaimer

Lilly Faire is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses related to the use of our services or rentals. Clients accept full responsibility upon delivery and setup.

12. Intellectual Property

All content and designs are the property of Lilly Faire and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.

13. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

Lilly Faire reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if certain conditions are not met. These may include, but are not limited to: failure to make timely payments or submit required deposits; violation of our stated policies, terms, or rental agreements; disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward our team or partners; requests that are unsafe, illegal, or fall outside the scope of our services; unsuitable or unsafe event environments, such as blocked access, hazardous weather, or incomplete setup areas; failure to provide necessary information or approvals within the required timeframe; last-minute changes that significantly impact logistics or feasibility; misrepresentation or submission of inaccurate event details; or any unforeseen events, emergencies, or force majeure circumstances that compromise the safe and successful execution of our services. These measures are in place to protect our team, uphold our service standards, and ensure a professional experience for all clients.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
